Yeah, I haven't posted anything on LJ in... forever; I had promised some of the wallpapers I made a few years ago and in the end I never delivered them, though I uploaded them on my DeviantArt account but because of copyright issues over the photos used they were deleted & my DA account suspended for a week at the time. So now I'm trying to catch up (I have a lot of catching up to do) and post them here as I should have. The wallies are of the 1st Twilight movie, yep I took a really long time to post these, no need to tell me. So, get them behind the lj-cut if I can remember how to do that :/

I haven't done any changes to my LJ in so long that it was about time. Finally I managed to adjust a new layout by refuted, though I actually finished it a couple of months ago. I was waiting 'til I had some spare time to upload the stylesheet, now I'm finally on vacations in Alpa Corral so I thought it was the perfect moment to do it. Also added a new header image (it's my constant obssession: Mr. Shannon Leto) which I made using Gimp. I haven't used my ibook & Photoshop in quite a while and 6 months ago I bought a netbook so I decided to download Gimp & give it a try (since it's free!). I prefer PS all the way but Gimp is not so bad, it's pretty similar to PS (though for me, not as easy to understand) & lacks a few important tools I always relied on: Selective Color & the Adjustment Layers functions. Other than that it's quite good to use on a netbook. I've made a few simple wallpapers & a couple of icons (my Shannon & Jared ones) using a tut by laury_kos which turn out awesome ;)
Apart from all that I'm trying to have fun during my holidays, sleep as much as I can & stayed connected to the web as much as I like. ^_^

It’s been light years since I last posted an entry in my Livejournal and I’m very sorry I haven’t been uploading all the icons and wallpapers I’ve been making in the last year/year and a half (it’s not like I’ve had a huge following anyways ;P ) To be honest I’ve been feeling so very lazy to upload everything to photobucket, get the img codes, arranging everything in an icon table, etc. to the point that I’ve pretty much have used Photoshop less & less in the past year. I haven’t felt inspired at all and I feel sad about it, it kind of stopped being fun. I had also opened a Deviantart account which I pretty much neglected as well (specially since the last time I uploaded wallpapers they were erased by the DA administrators and my account suspended for a week for using copyrighted images: Twilight, Gerry Butler, also my deviant ID (which had a photo of me that I took; I suppose they can’t just ask if I own my photograph and image, right?).

The only few changes I made have been my headers (I changed it to one of New Moon and a bit after the release of the 3rd Twilight Movie I changed it to one of Eclipse, I loved both movies btw) and the background of my journal (from gray to black, yeepyyy!). I’m quite bored of the look of my journal but changing it means I’d have to go LJ-hunting for a design that I like, copy the stylesheet code and make all the adjustments necessary to my use & liking, it all takes a loooooot of time and I would have to re-read all the guides to make my own layout *sigh* it’s exhausting… I’m hoping I’ll gather up courage and time to do all of it, maybe in January during my vacations. I just hope the Inn where I’ll be staying really has a functioning wifi network so I can stay connected to the world (the www-world that is). For the meantime I’ll be changing My DeviantArt link at the top of the journal’s body for My Twitter account (just in case anyone out there in the cyber world is interested, though of course I’m not very constant with its updates either *facepalm*).

Anyways lots of XXXOOOO to everyone out there, hope to be back soon ^_^

PS: I’m writing this on the Windows Live Writer application on my new netbook, seems like a good way to save time… kind of  =P
